The Role
The successful candidate will work on our project site located in Liverpool, NS and will work under the guidance of a Site Superintendent.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

General:
  • Assist Superintendent with trade contractor management
  • Consistently collaborates with the project team
  • Assist work conflicts and schedule challenges
  • Ensures compliance with contract drawings & specs
  • Monitors quality plan
  • Effective communication with Project Team
  • Supports Superintendent with implementation of ‘Project Execution Plan’
  • Assist in implementation of Construction Plan & Master Schedule
  • Monitors trade performance and productivity tracking
Safety:
  • Support Superintendent in implementation of Project Specific HSE Plan
  • Help enforce Project HSE Policies, and Procedures
  • Complete mandatory HSE Training
  • Participates in monthly safety inspections as part of team inspections c/w PSI & JHA Audits per inspection
  • Assist review and sign-off all site inspections
  • JHA Audits (Desktop & Field)
  • Participates in document incident investigation

Schedule:
  • Assist field team with productivity tracking
  • Pictorial Planning & Schedule Lookaheads
  • Trade schedule coordination
  • Monitoring Trade performance

Quality Management:
  • Assist field team with Interior QA/QC punch-outs & Architectural Deficiency Program & Tracking
  • Help review room readiness for finishing trades (i.e., flooring for material removal, garbage etc.)
  • Participates in Subtrade Quality Plan
  • Assist Conduct Constructability Reviews

The Requirements
  • Experience in construction, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Capacity to efficiently prioritize and work under tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to invest the total hours required to deliver projects
